3D slice form Project
Anamorphic Drawing Project
. Anamorphic is the distortion of an image creating an image that looks 3-D.
2. The supplies that were used to create our 3-D images were a glass frame, an original photo of the image we wanted to create, a large poster board, a box or something to hold and stabilize the glass frame, a pencil and finally a partner. 3. We drew our original image on the glass and dotted the key points on it and then set it up in the cardboard box. We then set the poster board in front of the glass with the image on it until the picture showed up on the poster board (which can be done by looking at the image at the image on the glass). Then we dotted where the image was on the poster board after looking through the glass. We connected the dots and created our image. When looking at it the image is distorted because we have stretched the image and made it larger at the angle we were looking at it from. If you stand about where you were when looking through the glass the image should look 3-D and accurate. 4. During this project my partner and I had a lot of problems. We ended up changing our photo four times because we chose challenging images that had curves. Another challenge was that I was gone for two of the five days that were assigned because I had a dance competition in Denver. I caused my partner so much stress, I feel really bad about it. |

In this project we used clinometers to measure the angles of elevation of different points of places around our school. We then used our very handy dandy trigonometry skills to find the vertical height of these things we measured.
